Safety Alert – Savage Attack

At the company I work for it’s the supervisor’s responsibility to report any safety incidents that might have occurred with employees at the end of each shift. These safety alerts then get emailed out to a large group of individuals that include people from operations, health-safety, HR, upper management, etc… Normally people’s safety is not a laughing matter or so I thought until I read what happened to this one person. I will let you be the judge.

“Employee was sitting in chair outside of MVC between door 6 and door 7 while on break and was savagely attacked by what was believed to be a yellow jacket. The employee was stung on his right middle finger. The sting inflicted what was described as excruciating pain and caused the employee’s middle finger to swell.”
